We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
Tech Matrix is an AI-powered IT troubleshooting assistant. It uses third-party large language models (currently from Anthropic) to provide responses based on your queries and any context you provide.
The Service is provided "as is" and we make no warranty about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the responses generated. AI-generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying information before acting on it, especially in production environments.
Tech Matrix offers a Free plan and several paid plans (Starter, Pro, Team, Enterprise). Each plan includes specific limits on daily messages, monthly usage budget, file uploads, and other features as described on our pricing page.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly by default) at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method on each renewal.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid access until then. After cancellation, your account is automatically downgraded to the Free plan.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you're charged for a renewal you didn't intend, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we'll evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
We may change prices for new subscriptions at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase affecting their plan. You can cancel before the change takes effect to avoid the new price.
If a payment fails, we'll retry the charge automatically (typically over 7 days). If all retries fail, your subscription will be downgraded to the Free plan and you'll lose access to paid features until you update your payment method.
You agree not to use Tech Matrix to:

You own your content. The questions you ask, the personal notes you save, and the configurations you create remain your property. We don't claim ownership of any content you submit to the Service.
License to operate. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., sending your queries to our AI provider, storing your notes for retrieval).
Generated responses. AI-generated responses produced in answer to your queries are yours to use as you wish, subject to our AI provider's terms (see Section 7).
Data deletion. If you delete your account, we delete your chat history, notes, and personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).
To deliver the Service, we rely on the following third parties. By using Tech Matrix you accept that your data passes through them subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:
"As is" service. Tech Matrix is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
AI accuracy. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or otherwise inappropriate for your specific situation. You should not rely on AI responses as a substitute for professional advice or your own judgment, especially when working with production systems, security-critical configurations, or anything where errors could cause harm.
Service availability. We make no guarantee of uptime or uninterrupted access to the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [YOUR LEGAL ENTITY NAME] and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100.
You can terminate your account at any time from the billing portal or by contacting us.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to other users, third parties, or our business.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
